Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: May 14, 2025

1. Booking and Payment

• Reservations: All bookings must be made via our website or email confirmation.
• Deposits: A 50% deposit confirms your booking. Full payment is due 30 days before the trip.
• Late Bookings: If you book within 30 days of departure, full payment is required upfront.
• Group Bookings: Special terms may apply. Group reservations may require non-refundable deposits.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

• Client Cancellations:
  • More than 30 days before departure: Full refund minus processing fees.
  • 15–29 days: 50% refund.
  • 7–14 days: 25% refund.
  • Less than 7 days: No refund.
• Company Cancellations: If Purpose Tours and Travel cancels a tour, you’ll receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

3. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is strongly recommended. We’re not responsible for losses due to cancellation, illness, delays, or lost items.

4. Health and Safety

You’re responsible for your health precautions, vaccinations, and fitness to travel. We assume no liability for health issues that arise during your trip.

5. Passports and Visas

Clients are responsible for ensuring valid travel documents. We can advise but are not liable for denied entry or travel delays due to documentation issues.

6. Itinerary Adjustments

We reserve the right to alter the itinerary due to weather, safety, local events, or other factors. We’ll always aim to offer a comparable experience.

7. Liability

Participation is at your own risk. Purpose Tours and Travel is not liable for injury, loss, or damage during the tour. Ensure your insurance is adequate.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Kenyan law. Any disputes will be resolved under Kenyan jurisdiction.
